（八）旅行 H: Journey
一、将远行，必辞亲友。抵达，必告平安。
When going on a long trip, you should say farewell to your relatives and friends, and take leave of your parents. Tell them you are safe upon arrival.
二、远到目的地，必先拜访有关人士。
After arriving at your destination, you should first visit those with whom you have relations.
三、归来必谒尊长，亲友，或略送土物。
When you return home, you should visit your relatives and friends and bring them small souvenirs.


四、远行之亲友辞行，必往送行，事前或赠物，或宴请。
When your relatives or friends leave for a distant place, you should send them off, giving a farewell present or invite them to dine with you.
五、远方客来拜访，须往答拜，或设宴接风。
When a guest from afar visits you, you should return the visit or invite him or her to dine with you.
六、旅人归来登门拜见，须回拜，或设宴洗尘。
When a traveler returns home and calls upon you, you should return the visit or invite him or her to dine with you.
七、受人之送行及饯别，达到所在地，须一一函谢或电谢。
If some people send you off or invite you to dine before your journey, you should send them thank-you letters upon arrival at your destination.
八、人之接风或洗尘毕，须还请。
When people welcome you upon your arrival and invite you to dine with them, you should return the favor.
九、上班第一天，要与领导和同事见面，打招呼。
You should report yourself to your manager, and say hello to your colleagues on the first day of work.
十、入境问禁，入国问俗，入门问讳。
Before arriving at your destination, ask which items are prohibited. Once in a country, inquire after their customs. In somebody’s household, understand which subjects are taboo.
